Flatbeds are the most flexible trailers as they can be used to transport almost any load. The benefit of using a flatbed trailer is that is can be loaded from all sides, from the top or from behind, which allows it to accommodate almost any load. Our flatbeds carry a maximum weight of 48,000 lbs and are 48 feet long, 8 feet 5 inches wide, and 8 feet 5 inches high.
Step deck or drop deck trailers are similar to a flatbed except they can accommodate a load with a height of 10 or 11 feet. Step deck trailers may also be used with ramps for shipments that can be driven on for easier loading. Our step decks can carry load of 48,000 lbs and are 48 to 53 feet long, 8 feet 5 inches wide and 10 to 11 feet high
Double drop trailers have a deck in the front and the rear that is higher than the middle "well" of the trailer. The double drop is another option for transporting loads that are over legal heights. Our double drops have a 29 foot main deck, a 10 foot front deck and a 9 foot rear deck. Their main deck height is 11 feet 5 inches, front deck height is 8.5 feet and the rear deck is 10 feet. The width is 8 feet 5 inches.
Removable Goosenecks (RGNs) or "lowboys" are typically used to transport heavy loads but can be used for a variety of shipments. The neck of a RGN can be detached and will allow the front of the trailer to be used as a ramp. Our RGNs can transport loads of 48,000 to 100,000 lbs but additional axels can be used to accommodate even larger loads. The main deck is 29 feet long, with a front deck of 10 feet and a rear deck length of 9 feet. The RGNs main deck height is 12 feet with a front deck 8.5 feet and a 10 foot rear deck and a width of 8 feet 5 inches.
Refrigerator or Reefer trailers are designed to carry perishable freight at specific temperatures. Refrigerator trailers can be ice-cooled, equipped with any one of a variety of mechanical refrigeration systems powered by small displacement diesel engines, or utilize carbon dioxide (either as dry ice or in liquid form) as a cooling agent. Our Reefers can carry a maximum weight of 48,000 lbs and are 53 feet long, 8 feet 5 inches wide and 13 feet 6 inches high.
Dry van trailers are best for loads that need to protected or out of the elements. Their loading capacity is limited because they can only be loaded from the back of the trailer and would normally require a loading dock for loading and unloading. Our dry vans can carry a maximum weight of 48,000 lbs and are 53 feet long, 8 feet 5 inches wide and 9 feet 2 inches high.
